Another Dryer Sheet Alternative

This one was emailed to me by my friend and blog-follower Jodi

Instead of using dryer sheets (I ran out last night), put a couple drops of hair conditioner on a clean washcloth and toss in the dryer with your laundry. Worked like a charm.

There is lots of creativity to be discovered.

I've never tried this, but I do rip my dryer sheets in half. I get twice as many loads out of the box and you CANNOT tell you only used half a sheet!

this works for me, with little expense and no toxic chemicals.

Use an old cotton washcloth dipped in white distilled vinegar. Squeeze until it is still wet, but not dripping, throw in the dryer, with a load of clothes. Soft Fresh, fluffy, clean, static-free smelling clothes! I have a load
(spandix Yoga, work-out gear)that sometimes requires a second quick treatment to contol static, but I'm thru buying those toxic chemical-laden dryer sheets. A gallon and a half of white vinegar is just over $3.00 at Sam's. There is no lingering vinegary smell, but I have a friend that adds a couple drops of either lavender or vanilla essence oil to her chrytal jar of dipping vinegar for a flavored load of laundry.
